Congratulations to me! This post will complete the 2021 challenge from Generations Cafe to write about 52 Ancestors 52 Weeks….52 posts of family stories and history. I hope that in the FUTURE my descendants will enjoy reading my stories as much as I have enjoyed researching and recording some family memories.
This week’s prompt is FUTURE and my first thought is “I hope 2022 is better than 2021!” I will accept the new challenge from Generations Cafe to use the monthly prompt word to encourage me to continue working on my family tree. I especially would like to extend the lines that go back into German and Scottish ancestors. I’ve also thought about connecting with cousins through Ancestry messaging to learn more.
Along with a regular focus on Ancestry I want to get back into my creative painting and collaging life. I think it would be fun to have a monthly prompt word as an idea generator for art. Maybe I’ll use the same word for both writing and painting….OR I could ask my family to generate a list of words for me to use a painting prompts.
I know that I’m a fairly goal oriented person so the challenge to complete a monthly task seems to work for me! I did it this year …I can do it again!
